For 2025, NAWBO has curated a series of events tailored to bring you relevant information, along with the chance to apply what you've learned. In February, we will launch our empowerment learning series, equipping you with tools to identify signs of stress and level set our bodies to a place of calm where we are in a position of power and peace on the level of commitments.

Women tend to carry stress silently and we know stress is often amplified at the entrepreneurship levels. People expect more out of leaders, and we in turn can put undo pressure on our bodies to perform at rates we cannot sustain. As women we can’t afford to sacrifice our health as we pursue opportunity in business and in building our lives. So where can you go to combat the stress you carry?

Did you know:

1 in 3 women will pay that price with their life.
Cardiovascular disease does not discriminate, and it is not a one-size-fits all issue. (It’s as diverse and complex as women are).
A woman’s unique risks for heart disease and stroke change over time.

The American Heart Association has dedicated 20 years to improving awareness of women’s heart and brain health. Through Go Red for Women, we strive to educate women that heart disease is their leading cause of death, to empower women to be business leaders, moms, and partners, and to connect women with other women for information, motivation and inspiration.
